For years, I lived the life many dream of.

A high-performing leader at JP Morgan Chase, I held a position that was prestigious, well-compensated, and admired. I was climbing the ladder, hitting the targets, and checking all the boxes of conventional success.

But beneath the surface, I felt a growing dissonance.

A quiet, persistent hollowness.

Despite the accolades, I felt stuck. Despite the rewards, I felt lost.
I was living a life that looked perfect on the outside—but felt misaligned on the inside.

That inner unrest became the catalyst for a deeper transformation.

That’s when I began to ask the harder questions:
What truly keeps me alive?
What if I redirected the same high-achieving energy—not toward external validation, but toward inner alignment?

That quest led me to a profound shift.

I stepped away from the illusion of balance between “work” and “life,” and began building something deeper: life balance. A life where my values, energy, and purpose are in harmony. A life where success is not just measured by outcomes, but by meaning.

The Shift: From Rishit to Rishiv (Shiv)

In the midst of this personal reckoning, I underwent not just a career shift—but a soul shift.
I chose to evolve from Rishit to Rishiv—a name inspired by Lord Shiva, the cosmic force of balance, transformation, and inner stillness.

Lord Shiva is not just the destroyer of illusion—he is the harmonizer of opposites.
He holds the paradox of creation and destruction, stillness and motion, detachment and deep compassion.
In him, I found a mirror for my own journey:
To dissolve the false identities I had built around achievement, and to awaken the deeper truth of who I am.

Rishiv is not just a name—it is a commitment.
A commitment to live in alignment.
To balance the forces within.
To lead from a place of stillness, not striving.

The BreakEven Life logo mirrors this transformation.

It is inspired by the three sacred horizontal lines—the Tripundra—on Lord Shiva’s forehead. These lines represent the transcendence of ego, the balance of opposing forces, and the awakening of higher consciousness.
They are a symbol of inner mastery, and a reminder that true power lies not in control, but in clarity, surrender, and alignment.

And at the heart of it all is the name “BE”—short for BreakEven, but also a quiet nod to one of the most profound questions ever posed in literature:

“To be, or not to be.” – William Shakespeare

This isn’t just a question of existence.
